Bylaw 4 - Insurance

  1. The Executive of the Stephenville Minor Hockey Association will ensure that adequate insurance is in place for all Association activities.

  2. The Executive will obtain sufficient insurance as is necessary to indemnify each Executive member, Director, Coach and Manager of the Association against all costs, charges and expenses, including an amount paid to settle an action or satisfy a judgement, reasonably incurred in respect of any civil, criminal, or administrative action or proceeding to which he/she is made party to by reason of acts done in an attempted performance in good faith of his/her duties in the Association.

  3. It is mandatory that any vehicle associated with a team outing, game, practice or Tournament, whether in town or out of town, must have third party liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00. If a rental vehicle is involved, the vehicle must be covered for the number of individuals it will be carrying.
