Friday Night Extravaganza

Two great venues offer hockey fans a choice of how they want to spend the eve of Hockey Day in Canada. Whichever event people choose to attend, they are going to have a great time. Both functions have great live musical entertainment but their own unique style. Come out for a great evening and support our community.


Hockey Day in Canada Dinner and Auction



Doors open at 6:00 for cocktails and the start of the silent auction. The event's guest speakers will feature Ron MacLean, Don Cherry and Dick Irvin. Speakers will begin at 6:50 pm. Ron and Don will make their way to the microphone at 7:15. Phonse Carroll will prepare a superb roast beef dinner, with some Newfie trimmings, that will lay a foundation for the rest of the evening. The silent auction will continue until 10:30 pm. A live auction with such items as autographed NHL jerseys, a Ken Danby print and more will begin at 9:15 pm. Following the public auction, Gerald Butler and Wreckhouse take to the stage, and you can start working off that roast beef. Other suprise guest appearances round off the evening's program.





Celebrity Pub Night



Come out and celebrate hockey at one of Stephenville's hottest clubs, Razoolies. Razoolies is hosting Celebrity Pub Night on January 6. Doors open at 6:00. This casual atmosphere will keep people entertained with a number of special events. Dick Irvin and Wendel Clark will be along for a while during the evening. Also, see Don and Ron speak via a live television feed. Ron and Don will make their way to the microphone at 7:15. Snook will be giving his take on the happenings along with other suprise guest appearances.There will be several raffles through-out the evening and a dance featuring the awesome group "Dirty Big Band". Snacks will also be served. If you looking for a great night of fun and dancing, Razoolie's is a good place to be Friday, January 6.

Tickets for the Celebrity Pub Night are on sale during regular business hours at Debbie's Video and the Video Screen in Stephenville. Tickets to this event are $25.00 each.
